23rd August Friday 2024, GAABESU successfully completed the first Memorial lecture under the Series "Legends & Legacies" in the memory of our legendary teacher Prof.S.K Sen, in collaboration with the EE department of IIEST-S.

It’s an amazing lineup featuring three outstanding entrepreneurs from Kolkata, Bangalore, and even Seattle, USA! They shared their insights, experiences, and valuable lessons learned along the way and also responded to live questions from the 2nd year and 3rd year IIEST Shibpur students.

This session was aimed at inspiring current IIEST students intending to pursue post-graduate studies in India and abroad, with a focus on female graduates in STEM disciplines. Dr. Arijit Banerjee, 2005 EE, recounts his fascinating journey from Shibpur to MIT and then to UIUC as a faculty member.
